DESCRIPTION:The Rock-a-palooza: PEI Schools of Rock Showcase is the school concert event of the year featuring 12 rock bands from 10 different Island schools ranging from grades 4 to 12 and spanning from Tignish to Souris. This modern version of a school concert is in its 7th year and will take place at the Murphy Community Centre on April 22 in Charlottetown from 5:00 to 9:00. These bands will play some of your classic rock favorites\, modern hits\, and even their own original material. \nLong and McQuade Charlottetown will be on hand giving away door prizes throughout the night. Tickets for the door prizes will be available at the show and entry will be by donation. All money collected will go back to the event to help improve and sustain this wonderful opportunity for Island students. \n
