| Come join us to celebrate International Women’s Day, March 8 2019. International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity worldwide. The 2019 theme is #BalanceforBetter.
The event will be held on Friday, March 8 from 3-5pm at Trinity United Church (220 Richmond St, Charlottetown) We will be doing an Indigenous Round Dance, singing, sharing women’s success stories, and of course lots of DANCING! There will be a kid’s station and lots of opportunity for everyone to be playful. This is a FREE event that is open to every age and gender. Event is being hosted by the Advisory Council on the Status of Women and Women’s Network PEI. |
