Come Work With Us! - Max 93.1

Come Work With Us!

If you’ve ever dreamed of waking up on one of the most beautiful islands in Canada and rockin’ the airwaves every morning, this could be your moment!

Max 93.1 is PEI’s only rock station — and we’re looking for our next morning show personality who knows how to connect, entertain, and become part of our community. We’re proud to be locally owned at MBS Radio, with 29 stations across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick. We live here, work here, and genuinely love the Maritimes, its people, the culture, and the pace!

Why live, work, and play in Charlottetown?

  • You’re minutes from world‑class beaches and coastline
  • You can golf some of the best courses in the country
  • Local seafood isn’t a treat — it’s just Tuesday
  • We’ve got some of the best festivals, music, theatre, and a vibrant downtown

If that sounds like your kind of lifestyle, here’s a little bit more you might like to know.

Responsibilities:

Host a daily morning show bringing your best content on air and online that fits our rock audience

Keep our social media and websites up to date

Being out in the community, meeting listeners at events, and representing our station and brand

Voice commercials, remotes, and voice‑tracking as needed

Help build and execute promotions and contests

Requirements:

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality

A team‑first mindset, but also someone who’s self‑driven

A real understanding of what local radio means in a place where community matters

You are a leader, not a follower

You have a valid driver’s license

Experience creating engaging social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X)

Knowledge of MusicMaster and WideOrbit are assets

Extra bonus if you’re familiar with the Maritimes and already love it as much as we do

Send your resume and demo (MP3 under 10MB) or a link to a Soundcloud/YouTube demo to kirk.davidson@mbsradio.com
