Annual Multicultural Community Heritage Day

The Council of the Resort Municipality would like to encourage all property owners, residents, business owners/operators and visitors to come out and celebrate Multicultural Community Heritage Day.
September 4, 2021 from 11:30am – 2:30 p.m. at the Stewart Homestead Community Park located at the entrance to the Shining Waters Family Fun Park #8885 Cavendish Road. (Follow Avonlea Boulevard to the end)

Activities Will Include:
Speeches from Government Members
Presentations to Committee Members and Volunteers
Beautification Awards, Dr. Kent Ellis Memorial Award,
Entertainment, Old-Fashioned Games and Races
Trivia for the Adults, Face Painting, Treasure Hunt
Prize Draws, Pinata, Barbecue, Refreshments, Cake and Ice Cream.
Based on COVID-19 restrictions, please note that in-person gatherings are limited. You must register at the municipal office in order to attend in person by phone at 902-963-2698 or by e-mail at resortmunicipal@eastlink.ca

Please do not enter the event in person if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough (new or increased chronic), congestion, headache, body aches, fever / chills, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, fatigue.
This event will be held in accordance with all public health directives regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and any changes to it up to the meeting date will be available at the municipal office and on the municipal website at resortmunicipalitypei.com
