GALA DINNER and AUCTION Spring Park United Church is holding its 6th Annual Gala Dinner and Auction on October 24, 2019 at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel 75 Kent Street. The theme this year is "Spring Park Goes Western". Reception begins at 5:30pm with a 3 course dinner to follow. The Belfast Historical Society will be presenting Island filmmaker Millefore Clarke’s new movie “Belfast People” at the Andrew MacPhail Homestead this Thursday October 24th at 07:00 PM. The movie features commentaries and reflections from area residents on life in the Belfast area. Please join us for an evening of film and conversation in a great setting. A light lunch will also be served.

Windsor Arsenault and Astrid Johnson are inviting the public to the launch of their new book, Two Talents, One Book at the Central Christian Church Summerside on Oct. 26 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Books will be on sale. Each person gets a ballot for a free draw of one of Windsors paintings at 4:00 PM. An auctioneer will auction off 15-20 paintings from 3:00- 3:30. Morell Regional High`s Senior Band is once again hosting their annual haunted house. All the funds raised from this event will go towards our band program to help us continue to grow as musicians! Admission is $3.00 for students and $4.50 for adults. We are located at Morell Regional High School and are open from 5-8pm on October 28-29th. Come get a good scare just in time for Halloween, and support your local musicians!

Winsloe United Church Ceilidh, Monday, October 28th starting at 7:30 p.m.  Host Dino Dunsford will be joined by the popular duo of Eddy Quinn and multi-instrumentalist Keelin Wedge.    The Church located at 121 Winsloe Road, is wheel-chair accessible and offers plenty of parking.   A Light lunch will be served.  Admission is $10 at the door which opens at 6:30.
