The Friends of the Confederation Centre Public Library would like to extend an invitation to Music For A Winter’s Afternoon which is happening on Sunday, November 25 at 1:30 p.m. Spend an hour listening to the talented Mary MacGillivray and Cian O'Morain perform songs while sampling the refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. Sorensen Family Christmas Concert
On Friday, December 7, 2018, at 7:30 pm, the annual Sorensen Family Christmas Concert, “The Shepherds Were the First to Hear”, will be held at the South Shore United Church, #85 Route 10 in Tryon. Kill the Chill – Lot 16 Winter Concert Series
Looking for ways to warm up this winter? Lot 16 Community Hall presents Rick Sparkes and the Enablers January 12 at 7:30pm, in the first of its “Kill the Chill” Winter Concert Series. Kill the Chill – Lot 16 Winter Concert Series
Lot 16 Community Hall continues its “Kill the Chill” Winter Concert Series with The Vaudevillian on February 9 at 7:30pm. A young trio with old souls; Jitterbug James, Norah Spades and Piedmont Johnson share a love of Prohibition-era music. This trio plays a mix of jug-band stomps, ragtime and country blues which will get your toes tapping.
