2nd Annual Rooted in Art Event

The City of Charlottetown will host the 2nd annual Rooted in Art event on Sunday, September 19, from 2-4 p.m. in King’s Square to celebrate the diversity of local talent in PEI and pay tribute to the importance and beauty of the city’s urban forest. To vote, you must be a Canadian citizen, be at least 18 years old on election day and prove your identity and address. Vote today at your assigned polling station on election day, Monday, September 20, 2021. Polls will be open for 12 hours (hours vary by time zone). To find your polling station, check your voter information card or use the Voter Information Service.

September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
