Annual Lobster Supper Takeout

An event every week that begins at 12:00am on Saturday, repeating until May 11, 2021

The Milton Community Hall is holding their annual Lobster Takeout Lobster Meal with a 1 lb lobster (cracked in shell),salads, roll and dessert on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Pick-up is 3-5 pm at the hall or local delivery can be arranged. Tickets are $25 and are available until Wednesday, May 12. National Nursing Week 2021 is May 10-16. It always occurs from the Monday to the Sunday of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. The week draws attention to nurses, increasing the awareness of the public, policy-makers and governments of the many contributions of nursing to the well-being of Canadians. Each year a theme is developed by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) to showcase how nurses are central to addressing a wide range of health challenges.

Benefit for Heartz Godkin

A Benefit for Heartz Godkin at the Winsloe Lions Hall, Wednesday, MAY 26. Heartz suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and will be in hospital for some time, There will be a Ceilidh in the afternoon from  2-4pm, with doors opening at 1:00 pm and the evening Ceilidh will run from 7:00-9:00 pm. Summer Series Ceilidh at Winsloe Lions Hall

Summer Series Ceilidh continues at Winsloe Lions Hall, Wednesday June 9 starting at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:00 pm.    Joining the Ceilidh in the City group will be “The Girls No Treble,  a group consisting of Maxine MacLennan, Sheila MacKenzie and Jolee Patkai.   These girls sing great harmony. There will be canteen service and a 50/50 draw, admission is at the door.  The Hall is wheelchair accessible and Covid restrictions apply.
